Kel in the morning

Apparently she's just as much of a morning person as I am......

James and Asher Strike Again

Apparently, they broke into the dress up clothes and are dancing and brushing their teeth with a hairbrush while standing on the playtable. These two crack me up.

Kel Waves Bye

I'm in SO much trouble. She's started doing this in the last day or two and totally does it whenever people wave or say Bye to her.

Kel is 6 Months!

Halloween 2011

Little kids on Halloween are just hysterical to me. Last night some of our friends came over to go trick-or-treating with us. You will probably recognize Chase from the pics I've posted in the past of the kids at the fair. James and Chase are super-best-buddies and together are quite the dare devil pair. They grab each other's hands and take on any challenge they can find, whether it's the GIANT slide at the fair or scoring candy from neighbors. To give you an idea of the fun, we went around our one block (never even crossed a street!) and each kid came home with at least 5 pounds of candy. I now have 3 enormous chip bowls full of candy at home.....anyone want some?????

Of course, James was a dinosaur. I couldn't find safety pins at the last minute and he was having so much fun flinging the "head" around that I'm sure you can imagine he didn't wear it for long. But we did get a couple of pictures with him wearing the whole costume.

James and Chase posing by the door before we left (that's the bucket that he had overflowing with candy by the end of the night)

Zoe was Cat Woman. They had a family theme with Paul, their dad, as The Joker.

Mike decided he was "breakfast"......of course.

We ran into the neighbor girls as we got to the sidewalk so we went around the block with them. It made for a really fun night.

Some of our neighbors had awesome pumpkins and decorations.

Just walking along....

James and Zoe didn't quite get that this neighbor was already OUTSIDE with the candy bowl. Which, actually, was a great idea. Quite a few neighbors had fires going in portable fire pits and were making it a night of picnics and s'mores on their front lawns/driveways. I think we're going to do something similar next year cause it looked like a blast. (Though it does help that it was in the high 60s/low 70s)

Kel was a dinosaur too. She wanted to pet this neighbors puppy. And no, I'm not exaggerating. When the puppy came out she started yelling until I got down so she could see. LOL

None of the kids quite understood that they had to back away from doors so that people could OPEN them  to get the candy out.

This was the house that gave out whole treat bags filled with toys and candy.

A better closeup of Kel's hat (she's getting angry cause she wants to walk too).

AWESOME decorations at these 2 houses. Smoke machines, light-ghosts and TONS of pumpkins.

The end of the night.....
