Saturday, James and I picked Jason and Karen up from the Metro station in Orange since they were trying out a new route for Jason to get to work. Trial runs of public transportation provide the perfect excuse for playtime!
After I picked them up we headed over to the Spectrum to wander around, shop and have dinner before they headed back home. The OC Fire Department was doing a promotion and had a HUGE fire truck sitting in front of the ferris wheel for kids to explore and talk to firemen.
James was fascinated by all the colors and buttons. And he clearly felt right at home driving!
I love that James also has a Big Gulp while driving... doesn't everyone need that while driving in LA traffic?
ReplyDeleteHe did attempt a reach for the Big Gulp but Trish pulled him out just in time. The fire dude looked grateful for the Big Gulp save.
ReplyDeleteJames looks like he'll take after his "Uncle Randy" and be a heavy equipment operator or truck driver. He even has the plaid shirt, the pot belly and the Big Gulp -- and his attitude is written all over his face and his body language. "Hey Dude, what's up?" and "Can you believe that other driver?" These pics are toooooooooo funny!
